My husband's daughter turns 18 next month. His divorce decree states that child support will continue "while such child is a full-time high school student, not self-supporting or married or otherwise emancipated, until such child reaches the age of 18, which first occurs."

I know that VA state code says that child support may continue after the age of 18 if the child is a full-time high school student. But I read the divorce decree to say that his ends at 18 because that occurs first. So which would take precedence here?

VA state code now states 19 or when she graduates from high school whichever comes first.
