My ex was to provide medical insurance to our child per divorce decree. If should lost or couldn't provide, I would then provide it. In 2012 my ex notified the State of CT she was switching jobs and would be without insurance for 3 months. Later that year, the state ordered my employer to add the child to my insurance out of nowhere at a huge increase in cost from $32 to $122 per check. I found out she had insurance the whole time and she is now suing me for reimbursement of medical costs. Her lies cost me over $3200 that year. How can I prove she lied to the court about not having insurance and defend myself from having to pay her.
