A researcher at the University of Akron is looking for mothers and teenage daughters to take part in a research study.
If you have an adolescent daughter (14-18 years), have divorced/separated or are in the process of divorcing/separating, have lost contact with the father of your child due to divorce/separation, and have not experienced family violence or abuse, you are eligible to participate in this study.
The study examines what teenage girls from divorced or separated families experience and how mothers think their daughters are dealing with parental divorce/separation.
Participating mothers and daughters will take part in a 1-1 1/2 hour interview in School of Social Work. In appreciation of the time you give to this study, mothers will be given $20 and daughters $15.
