My last modified divorce decree literally states "the parties waived their right to a de novo appeal". Both parties did agree to this and, as explained to me by my lawyer, I thought this meant neither party could appeal or modify these orders. My ex just filed yet another petition to modify. I'm confused, can the decree be modified even though it states no appeal?
