I'm looking for what I'm sure is a simple answer and hope someone here, can help me.

I've been divorced for about 15 years.

I received a check for last months alimony this month, from my ex-husband's, new wife.
It is written on her account, not a joint account and was dispatched by a bank auto payment system.

Since she is not the one who was ordered to make the payments and it is not from a joint account, I'm not sure if I should cash the check or not.

I have not been able to find any info for this situation anywhere online.

Please help me if you can.

Thank you sincerely,

Cashing the check may not cause any issues for you but it could possibly cause issues for your Ex Husband.
