Batterer Intervention Program (BIP)
- a program aimed at violent people who abuse members of a household or partners in a romantic relationship.
Application in Divorce
Eighty percent of the batterers are referred to BIP by the criminal justice system. BIP includes classes and group therapy,
counseling
and case management.
