Application in Divorce
This term is applied to a place, which is usually kept secret, were a woman and her
children
can escape domestic violence. Safe houses provide shelter for women in troubled domestic situations. For help, woman may call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800-799-7233.
Some communities also operate safe houses.
