Term Definition Uniform Parentage Act of 2000 - consolidated and revised the Uniform Parentage Act of 1973, the Uniform Putative and Unknown Father Act of 1988 and the Uniform Status of Children of Assisted Conception Act of 1988 into a single act of the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws.

Application in Divorce This act, which is recognized in all jurisdictions, sets standards for determining the children and restates their legal rights under the act.

The Uniform Parentage Act also reflects the advances that have been made in assisted reproduction.
