Ohio Divorce Mediation, Counseling and Parenting Classes
Ohio Divorce Mediation:
The court, at the request of either spouse or on its own, may order mediation sessions for the spouses on child custody and visitation issues. The mediation period may extend for up to 90 days. [Ohio Revised Code Annotated; 3105.091 and 3117.01+]. Ohio Marriage Counseling:
The court may also order the spouses to undergo “conciliation procedures” as well as mediation sessions if there is a chance of reconciliation. Ohio Parenting Class:
Parenting classes are required in some counties for divorcing spouses with minor children.
