Was a GA resident, went overseas for a year, now have to re-establish residency to file for divorce.........There is something a bout 10 days living in the state to be able to do something......anyone know if it is to file for support, or to file a separation agreement????

Call your county's clerk office and ask one of the clerks, they are always very helpful.

GA judge does not ask for proof of residency just swearing under oath. The less you tell them the faster and less questions during the hearing. Hopefully you are requesting an uncontested divorce. STBX can find proof of your actual residency.
