My husband and I have been married for almost 3 years. He wasn't allowed to see his children for the first two years of his (choice) separation (unwed). His ex manipulated his time with his kids during the first two years to also include her, he refused.
He has court ordered visitation for 18 months, and she refuses to encourage the oldest to go, and instead, encourages him to be completely disrespectful and down right mean to his dad in front of her. The younger two come and visit, but take stories back (true stories only from the child's viewpoint..) and my husband gets berated regularlay.
We recently filed contempt charges and are set for a hearing in February.
My question is this....I found that there is a Wisconsin Statute tat says tht if the visitation schedule has not been given two years, then probably nothgin will be done to fix this problem. Has anyone had any history in contempt charges for lack of visitation. The oldest child is 13. He is making bad grades. Mom is morbidly obeses and requires the oldest around to help her live. Sick relationship.
I just would like to know what to expect when we get there.
Thanks in advnace.
