I forgave all arrears and paid the adoption. My D needed the stress of that man gone. The sooner the better. At 6 she was suffering from an anxiety disorder and depression. That was the best money I ever spent!
Every storm cloud has a silver lining. Will you capitalize on it or b*tch about the storm?

my son doesn't have to deal with him...and he is willing to pay for all the adoption and have half of it be credited to his arrears. He knows he will still be responsible for the arrears. He is just desperate to get the current CS stopped, get his liscense back and avoid jail. He has never had...never will have interest in our son.

I will, at the most, credit him for half of the adoption costs (my half), but no more than that.
