I have a question... I am trying to find out how the Indiana courts view same-sex relationships with regard to child custody. Everything I can find says that they generaly do not consider this UNLESS it can be shown that the "lifesyle" is having a negitive affect on the child, and that can be proven.
Does anyone know if the "no-cohabitation" clause is standard there?
I am currently in AR and have always had FULL custody of my daughter. Recently we have ended up in court because of my daughters dad and SM's actions and they brought up that my partner lives in our home and she was forced to move out.
We are considering a move to IN to be close to my family, but don't want to do it if we are going to face the same or worse discrimiation that we face here.
any help on how the IN courts have ruled before will be EXTREMLY helpful! Thank you.
