So thats all you have to say about my questions-Gah...

Can't come up with anything that would redeem yourself can you? I find it very dishearting that a parent would not think that teaching their children about morals is not part of a parents responsibility.

No wonder she left you for someone else

Maybe you should stick to the Man's forum for now on

Oh yeah, by the way, Adultry is illegal the last time I checked.

I looked at your signature, so if committing adultry is petty than why did you divorce her?

i totally understand why you want him out. I dont know why we are forced to live with spouse during divorces. It is dead wrong and not fair to our children. It only hurts them more. I have been divorced for 8 months and i still have to live with my x. My co states that we must sell the house then all the assets are split. well the house has been for sale for a year eeeerrrrr... so who knows I could end up living him with for another 10 years...eeerrr i will forclose b4 that happens!!!!! it is a nightmare.
so to answer your question...I was told the only way to get my x out was to prove some type of abuse.

Adultery is still on the books in many states. In Minnesota it appears under 609.36

https://www.revisor.leg.state.mn.us/bin/...9#stat.609.36.0

It is, however, never enforced and it is one of those lingering outdated laws that cannot be enforced.

Yeah, it's illegal in my state , too. And never enforced. What's your point?

OMG..it's already stressful living as I am with the stbx and we've just started the divorce procedure. we say absolutely NOTHING to one another. We he enters the apartment I ignore him and vice versa. my only blessed moments are when he goes away to be with his OW.

Do you have to sell your house and split it 50/50 or if your ex had the money and could buy you out..could that be an option?

I think that was my point. It is not enforced and, I would suggest, would have constitutional issues if it were attempted. It would seem we agree. I was not attacking you, I was disagreeing with Googledad to some degree. Let's not be too defensive. I am also licensed in Wisconsin.

If one wants the house and the other is willing, the one staying can refi and buy them out. If both want it, the judge may decide in favor of one or the other or order it sold and neither get it. Or if neither can afford to stay alone, they sell and split the equity.

"He can stay a man til the cows come home, but I don't have the time to keep up with everyone's gender. Unless he uses a username that's definately male, or let's on that he's male in each post, I'm likely to think of "kim" still yet and think he's a she. "

I was just messing with you. I only brought it up since Lisa already had. Sorry.

No problem. I wasn't upset. Just letting you, and "him" know that I'm likely to think he's a she again in the future. So just be ready for it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
