I filed my own divorce in Laurel Co. at the end of February. At the end of September I finally received a defect order. The wording of the defect order is very vague. When I called the court they couldn't help (of course, I wasn't surprised). My estranged husband and I have both moved on, have liquidated all our our assets as we agreed since this has taken so long, I just want it over and he has moved out of state. Can anyone tell me what I need to do differently? He has been paying child support directly to me as we have agreed, so there aren't issues with that either.

Here are the notes from the defect order:

A child support worksheet is not attached (and a form number) I found the form. But what are they looking for as far as a worksheet?

Improper or insufficient proof

Entry and waiver voided If executed before the action is commenced

The requirement of the family court rules of practice and procedure of law have not been met (3) 1.

The petition does not contain all of the required information. I have no idea what I could be missing information wise.

Any help or advice is appreciated.
