I am about to get remarried. My soon to be spouse and I are afraid that once I get remarried, my ex wife will come after me for additional child support being that my new combined income will be much higher. Is my ex capable of doing this? Is this what a post nup can protect in our new marriage?

The only state that takes a new spouse's income into consideration is IL, or if you paying less than guideline, some states look at household income. Otherwise, child support is only going to be based on the actual parent's income.
